Has Liza finally gotten a clue? Dear God, I hope so.

Oh, she totally does. I've been surviving all this quavery-voiced annoyingness for the past couple of weeks just waiting for Liza to start turning the tables on Adam. Yay! I'm actually looking forward to recapping this stuff.

Man, Liza looked so pretty when she was sitting on her bed smiling. I am now pissed at the writers for giving her crap storylines where she doesn't get to smile at all. Idiots. And, I too, am glad she's finally turning the tables on Adam.
Mia? Having that dream? EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW! I never, EVER, want to see that again. Yuck. Aww, Greenlee. She's one of the people who I like all the time. Unless she does something really stupid, then I start ranting about the writers, heh. Because it is all their fault, really. That blank stare Vanessa has going on is really creeping me out. Marj Dusay is really, really good. She's been excellent this whole story line. |

Except Vanessa blinked a whole bunch in the shot of her alone. She really IS faking.
As for Mia's dream? Be thankful you didn't have to recap it. Why do I always get stuck with the vomitous episodes? |

*hands kariyaki a barf-bag for having to recap someone kissing Adam. Eww squared.*
What was with Greenlee waving the scalpel around like she was frosting a cake? Is that her way of "flourishing" it? I agree that Marj Dusay is doing a great job with the "dissociative state." Now, if only we could get Jack to do it. I'm just about tired of him. And I liked David and Anna together today for about three minutes. |

Ohhhh...Greenlee had a scalpel. That's right, I'd forgotten what that was. I kept calling it a box cutter in the recap. That makes more sense since Greenlee could probably get ahold of a scalpel pretty easily in the PV hospital with their shoddy security and all.

Heh. I'm convinced that someone could stroll through that hospital with an axe in one hand and a chainsaw in the other, and no one would so much as blink.
Thank God kari warned me about the Mia/Adam dream. Gah! Horrible. I'm loving Not!Crazy Liza. She's so cute when she's being manipulative and, y'know. Intelligent. Kendall for today, yay! |

And I thought watching Roger and Simone together was awful! Now that Rog is out of the equation, we get Mia and Adam to fill in with the ick-factor? How unrealistic. Stop it, writers!

Nevada | ||
|
Ok, this is common, but it's just as annoying as when people pronouce the s at the end of Illinois. The second syllable of "Nevada" doesn't rhyme with "nod." It rhymes with "had." I live here, my dad grew up here, and 99.9% of Nevadans pronounce it the second way. The others are probably non-natives who moved here from Pennsylvania and will probably be beaten to death with a shovel by their neighbors.
Interestingly, there is no Los Yeramos, NV that I know of, but there is an Oasis. They don't have a motel there, though. Oasis is a funky little town that is entirely made up of trailers which were originally placed there by a cult that believed their alien mother ship would be landing there to take them all home. The center of Oasis is a round park that was supposed to be the landing pad, and all the roads are loops around smaller circles for the "pods." The cult abandoned it when the mother ship didn't show up, and sold their trailers to basically normal people who now live in a town with all these round roads. I swear I am not making this shit up. Yeah, I'm completely off-topic, but it cracked me up that they placed that motel in Oasis, one of the tiniest towns in Nevada. |

That little dance Leo did when Vanessa opened his eyes just cracked me up. I love Josh Duhamel. Give him more comedy to play, people!
And word to the mispronounciation of Nevada. They do the same thing with Oregon, pronouncing it OregAHn. Out west, we don;t pronounce it PennsylvAHnia, so they need to return the favor. |

Re: Nevada | ||

Oh, Josh was outstanding today. The tears, the little dance, the nutty look on his face when he said "She's back!" Lots of great emotional range. And Marj Dusay was no slouch either, with the frightening grinning and pointing at her sons. I can't wait to see what she has in store for us next.

Re: Today... | ||

Ah, see. I had literally twenty minutes in which to watch today's show, so guess which scenes I picked?
Kendall was in top form today as the puppet master. She totally manipulated Greenlee and Erica to get what she wanted. She's not doing bad for herself now. She went from completely unemployed to having two jobs all in one week. That's impressive. And was anyone else thinking of Greenlee's hair when Kendall mentioned the hachet job? Kendall was referring to the newspaper article, but dude--Greenlee's hair. |

Damn, I missed cute Josh? That's so sad. I love Josh. But not once this week have I been able to get up in time for AMC. In fact, I haven't even been getting up in time for GH, but that one might be Freudian.

Josh was fantastic, agreed.
And I still like Greenlee's (and to a lesser extent, Mia's) hair. In fact, I kind of want Greenlee's hair. |

Re: Today... | ||

Oh, you poor deluded soul... Well, at least I know if I ever want to cut my hair off, I can do it myself and save $20. Apparently, the self-barber style is in.
Has the show not been actually good these past couple of days? Very few snooze-worthy scenes. I'm aghast. |

Re: Today... | ||

You're right, it's been good. There have been interesting and surprising things happening, great lines from characters, and a good balance of characters. Yesterday we got a big dose of snarky diva Erica, as opposed to the annoying diva we've had for the last, oh, several years. Palmer has been so much fun, Petey's an amazing liar, Adam vs. Lisa, plotting Kendall, Vanessa up to somethings, Maria back in town, David's newest big secret, and Frank. All of the good. There are still some things that aren't so great, but they're finally outnumbered.

Re: Today... | ||

Bianca's hot. She wasn't as snotty as they've been writing her. She was really cute today. Poor Kendall didn't have much to do, but she's always amusing when making fun of people, much like Greenlee. Adam and Liza were really good today. Liza especially. Wow, at the beginning when she was getting right back in his face. I enjoyed that very much. Greenleo are being damned to hell apparently. Anytime people go on and on about how happy they are and will be, they are so doomed.

Jazmyne and Grinaldi, I'm from Pennsylvania, and I say both NevAHda and OregAHn. And I'm so very sorry.
Rebecca and Josh have both been amazing the last couple weeks. Josh handles comedy very well. So you guys liked Erica's snarking on Greenlee, huh? I didn't, I found her even more annoying than I usually do. And that's saying something, trust me. |

Re: Today... | ||

Oh, don't get me wrong. I still hate Erica as much ever, but it's a 'love to hate' kinda thing. And if she's snarky at Greenlee, it means more fun is to come.

Re: Today... | ||

Love to hate, exactly.
I'm curious as to how y'all feel about the teen storylines? Personally, I get pretty bored with them, but does anyone see redeeming qualities? |

JR? Snore. Bianca? Yawn. Maggie and Tim? Huh, what?
Tim and whatever's happening at home? Tell me more. Now. And bring Trevor here to tell me. |
