And now I hear that Shaggy's being given the heave-ho. This probably makes him the shortest-term actor in the role of JR.
I also hear that Billy Kay, recently ousted from GL (because of their stupidity, NOT because he sucks or anything; quite the opposite, actually) will be cast as JR. |

Re: that reality-show junk with the Fusion girls. Where I live, in Nevahhhda (as Edmund, Brooke, and other annoying people like to say), a local radio station is advertising an "Are You Hot?" contest. It's being run by ABC, but I've heard no mention of AMC at all. I wonder if it's the same thing we've been hearing about? |

It might be that. AMC is supposed to be sending Alicia and Rebecca out on the road at some point for this publicity stunt.
New news. I hear Erica and JACK are supposed to get horizontal for February sweeps. God, I hope this means she and Chris are kaput. I'd probably be able to stomach Chris if broke up with Erica and got over his stupid Kendall-issues. |

No kidding. I saw Jack Scalia in something recently (random 80s drama in midnight syndication) and thought, "this is a much cooler character than Chris." And I actually like Jack and Erica together, but only when he doesn't take any of her shit. When he turns into her bitch, it's no fun for anyone.

Anna's blood pressure drops drastically during surgery- Feb. 7 - Bummer David has news for Edmund about Maria. - "She hates your guts and always will!" Reggie shares his vision of the future with Trey. - Shyeah, a dream of living outside Pine Valley, most likely since Trey's not long for this show. Boyd's feelings for Kendall surprise Erica. - He TELLS Erica? What is he, high? Beginning Feb. 10, Edmund, Maria and Aidan are on location in the Bahamas. David has to put his surgical skills to use- Feb. 10 - Meh. Maria comes face to face with Julian- Feb. 11 - This Julian guy better be worth all this build up. Oh, who am I kidding? Aidan and Mauria in the Bahamas?? With possible sex?? Somebody shoot me. But, they're really going on location instead of using cheesy island sets? Color me surprised.
I saw Jack Scalia in some 80's TV-movie last week (I think it was on Lifetime). Not only did he play a much better character than Chris, *whispers* I thought he was actually pretty hot. Does that mean I've finally gone bonkers from watching this crap too much? |

According to The Pine Valley Bulletin, someone I've never heard of named Murray Bartlett is to play Julian.
Also, I keep seeing things that say Kendall is supposed to be thrown back into the Aidan/Mauria mix later this month. I can't say I'm happy about that except that it means Kendall gets to go to the Bahamas. They are really spreading that poor girl thin, aren't they? The Bahamas AND that spring break thing in March. Well, if I were going to be worked to death, that would certainly be my ideal choice. |

Ooh, I found a synopsis of the Fan February episode on the 12th. Looks like it will be hysterical.
On February 12 (1:00-2:00 p.m., ET), it's another wedding day for "All My Children's" Erica Kane (Susan Lucci), and you'll never believe who is about to become husband number eleven! Roles are reversed for Erica's daughters, as she faces her jealous and vindictive daughter, Bianca (Eden Riegel), who sets out to ruin her mother's day by destroying what matters to her mother most: a good hair day. Even with the support of her loving daughter Kendall (Alicia Minshew), Erica's day spirals out of control. Tad (Michael E. Fresh from Soap Opera Digest: Bianca is going to abort. I have to say, this surprises me. I don't think there's been a soap abortion in like ten years.
In other news, Kendall pretty much has a nervous breakdown when she finds out, which Ryan is going to witness. Dammit. Why can't Aidan be there for her? I don't want Kryan redux. |

Kendall's breakdown has been brewing for a while-- too bad there won't be a true friend to comfort her. I'd prefer Aiden or Greenlee to be the ones to help her piece her life back together. Not Ryan-- he's so meh! |
