When I first saw this episode, I was convinced that [Alyssa] Milano and [Tony] Denison had played Amy Fisher and Joey Buttafuoco in some horrifically trashy movie-of-the-week, and Phoebe's "Daddy?" therefore squicked me right out. To my abject dismay, I discovered that my memory had conflated two entirely different horrifically trashy movies-of-the-week into one great big waste of brain matter. Alyssa's Joey was a guy named Jack Scalia, while The Teflon Dad here appeared opposite Drew Barrymore, of all people. Yes, I apparently saw two separate Amy Fisher movies ten years ago. Let the beatings begin. Hmmm. Chris Stamp played Joey Buttafuoco opposite Alyssa Milano's Amy Fisher. Yikes.

Speaking of the Alyssa as Amy TV flick, Mary Jo was played by none other than the first Arlene Dillon Vaughan, Phyllis Lyons. So there you have it. Chris Stamp & Arlene as Joey & Mary Jo. Yikes squared!

I was flipping channels the other day, and saw her. I knew she had gone to another soap, but I was completely floored by the idiocy of her character. I suppose I'm judging unfairly, having only seen one scene, but whoa. She literally giggled at some guy, chewed on her hair, giggled, posed, walked toward the door, turned, giggled, chewed on her hair, and left the room. Now, didn't Cady win a Daytime Emmy for her portrayal of Dixie back in the "pregnant with JR" days? Are they really using her to the best of her ability if all they have her do is giggle? Creepy giggling too, by the way.

She had a catfight the same week Kendall and Greenlee had one. She lost, by the way. When she has scenes with her sister, she doesn't get all giggly, obviously. The claws unsheath and the snarky comments fly all over the place. Trust me, Cady is better off on ATWT. She gets to have lots more fun.

Last night while watching VH1, one of the people being interviewed about sexy pop stars was Matthew St. Patrick, "From Six Feet Under," and I spent the whole show thinking "Hey! That's Adrian!" Mr. jaz didn't care. We don't have HBO, so I didn't know that's what he did now.

I doubt I'll get an answer, as I'm probably the only person who cops to watching it, but I think he was some foreign rock climbing guy who's dating some chick at a youth hostel.

I pathetically TiVod the marathon last weekend on the hopes of seeing him but have yet to subject myself to watching it. It's akin to torture you know.

Her acting was much more natural, none of the affectations she's know for on AMC, so she must really "camp it up" for the soap. Also, she looks so-o-o-o-o much better now...amazing how 11 years later she looks 11 years younger!

The writing is horrible, but not as bad as the actors, who couldn't act their way out of a paper bag to save their lives! All that said, it can sometimes be a guilty pleasure for masochistic viewers like myself

Bam! First episode, Aidan jackpot. And he was very, very shirtless. Whoo-hoo! To change the subject to a different person, the old Trekkie in me felt the need to post that Marj Dusay (Vanessa) was in an old episode of Star Trek. In what is widely thought to be one of the worst episodes, "Spock's Brain." She also had a recurring sitcom role in the '80s playing Blair's mother on The Facts of Life.

Mr. Jaz was watching it one morning, and I came in and said "Hey! That's Vanessa!" She was playing some debutante or ambassador's daughter, or something.

She's a huge dork and I just end up laughing at her sometimes. Elisabeth Harnois, who played Bianca's girlfriend , Sarah, was on an ep of Charmed titled "Magic Hour." I really liked her.

It amuses me to think that Palmer started out as a pompus-ass choreographer who thought that Fred Astaire was a bad dancer. Hee! He's also "Dream Curly" in the movie version of Oklahoma!. Looks nothing like Gordon MacRae (Tilly on OLTL's father), but that's not really the point, now is it?
