When I went my freshman college orientation a few years ago they showed one of those videos on student life with student testimonials. One of the students was Keith Hamilton Cobb. Yeah that sort of shot the video's credibility all to hell.

One of my college roommates was from Brooklyn (and Jamaica...she was quite the unique one), and she said that there was a grocery store opening in her neighborhood, and KHC was the "big celebrity" they got to come. I think even that is better than Andromeda.

Terri Ivens (Simone) was just on one of the Boy Meets World reruns that the disney channel shows. She was a smart chick who had the hots for the older boy and she kept encouraging him to cheat and gave him the answers to a test so he'd have time to make out with her. A corrupt high school tutor. Ha.
And no, I wasn't watching it, it was just on in the background. I recognized her voice. It wasn't as deep then. Heh. And her damn freaking laugh/giggle (shudder). |

Man, this is sad. I actually have been trying to figure out where I've seen Simone before for months now and have now realized that Kathy solved it for me.

Well, I saw it. Stupidest plot in the history of sitcoms. Or is it always like that? Smoan did good acting, though. Better than the people who are actually regulars on that show.
Interestingly, as I was zipping through the commercials, I stopped to watch an extended preview of some TV movie Disney was about to broadcast because I saw CuteDean from Gilmore Girls. So I'm watching it and I notice that one of the other stars of the movie is Mischa Barton who played Lily Montgomery for a cup of coffee before Michelle Tractenberg played her. The world just seems to be one giant AMC shout-out to me. |

Marj Dusay rocks as Blairs' mom on old Facts of life reruns. I think she may have won the emmy for that role.
And Court TV is showing the Amy Fisher story with Jack Scalia in the hair helmet sometime this month again. Old Arlene (Phyllis Lyons) plays MaryJo. |

Whoever the hell that is that plays Isabella Santos is in some Sears commercial. She's in the clothing department where she takes three pairs of clothes and lays them on the ground then takes the leg of the middle set of pants and folds it over the other leg. Then it cuts to her living room where three kids are all layed out in front of the TV wearing the clothes and the middle child has his leg crossed over just as the mom had demonstrated. Hee. I like Sears commercials. They're pretty funny.

The substitute Simone's dad was being played by Joe Morton who is a regular on my fave show "Smallville". (He's also been in like A TON of big time movies like "Ali" & both "Speed" movies)
And this is really random but i saw the dude who played TRASK BODINE on an old ep of "sex in the city" called "unoriginal sin". My brother says he's a regular on "the sopranos" as well. |

Oh, man! I loved Trask. Now I have another reason to wish we got HBO. I don't particularly want to watch either Sopranos, S&tC, or any of their other programming; I just hate being left out. (To be fair, I have watched Sopranos and S&tC before, so it's not like I haven't given them a chance.)
Dude, now I want Trask back on the show. He'd be a great love interest for some of the Pine Valley ladies. |

The little girl who plays Maddie is in a Verizon commercial. She plays a cute little ballerina. I recognized her because her ears stick out so far and I think that's so cute.

More info on Cameron: He will be playing the guy that Kate is planning to marry. He's only listed as a guest star, so I'm pretty sure that wedding won't go well. Although, Heather Locklear was a "special guest star" on Melrose Place for the entire show, so maybe CM will be around for a while.
