Yeah, I hear that he's just a plot contrivance for Kate to leave. Hey, at least she snagged a hottie.

Re: Other Roles | ||

Finola Hughes was on the Charmed season premiere. She appeared as an apparition as her character is wont to do, being dead and all. TNT repeats the new episode on Tuesdays, if anybody wants to catch it. Holly Marie Combs wears leather pants and Alyssa Milano wears pasties and misspells her own character's name; it's a can't-miss-episode.
Also, during the episode, there was an Acuvue commercial with Gabrielle Anwar. Her hunky, non-speaking, pool-playing partner in the commercial was Aiden Turner. They were wise to keep him silent. |

ABC Soaps reports that along with being a few months away from fatherhood, Cameron Matheson will be appearing on CSI "later this month." Perhaps he'll be shirtless, yes?

Re: Other Roles | ||

If Cameron plays a corpse, that would almost be a certainty. So that leaves me at a quandary. Do I want to see him dead and shirtless and alive in grainy flashbacks? Or do I want to see him alive as a witness or whatever in much clearer camera shots. Ooh, the indecision.

Cameron on CSI | ||

I'll take him however I can get him. Just seeing a split-second shot of him in those Hayteo flashbacks the other day was great-- imagine what a whole, hour-long show would be like! (Well, part of an hour, anyway.)
*sigh* I miss Cameron...and I hide it well, huh? |

Just saw the CSI preview for next week, and Cameron is very much alive. Mmmmmmm.

I'm not a regular CSI viewer (never seen it once, actually), so I have to ask. Is he going to be on the one that has to do with body parts and meat grinders? (Yum, huh?) Because that's the one that TV Guide is saying will show on Thursday. I have to make sure I see this, since I missed his Drew Carey appearance.

Re: Cameron on CSI | ||

Yeah, CSI is the show that has lots of lovely TMI views of dead bodies and such. I started watching it when Robia LaMorte (aka Jenny Calendar on Buffy) guest-starred and got addicted. I learned rather quickly to not eat while watching that show.
I caught Cameron's Drew Carey appearance, but it was maddeningly Cameron-lite. They kept giving all the screentime to the stinking regulars, can you believe that? |

Today! Cameron's on today! *bounces*
In other news, several days ago I caught this movie on Cinemax with Amelia Heinle called Black Cat Run. It also had Patrick Muldoon (formerly Austin on DAYS), Jake Busey and the guy who was the villain in that Jim Carrey movie, The Mask. Anyway, I only actually caught the last half or so of the movie, so when it came on again last night I started watching it so I could catch the beginning. When the movie met back up with where I had originally started watching, I hit my menu button to find something else to watch and weirdly enough, RIGHT afterwards was a movie called Earth vs. the Spider with Dan Aykroyd and Amelia Heinle AGAIN. It was like some weird Mia Mini-Marathon last night. |

Amelia Heinle, B-movie queen. Who knew?
Ahem. So, Cameron wasn't on nearly long enough to suit my taste, but I did enjoy seeing him again. I was racking my brain trying to figure out who he'd be playing until they mentioned the "male model" part...not really much of a stretch there. Then when they mentioned the face-burning thing, I envisioned a Barbara Ryan-type look and panicked. Luckily, he was only partially disfigured. Also, much to my dismay, he remained fully clothed the whole time. Can't have everything, huh? |

Re: Cameron on CSI | ||

I knew Cameron wasn't going to be on much just from watching the guest credits that rolled after the first commercial break. He was almost last. I was hoping for at least shirtlessness, but oh well. They were smart enough to open his scene with a shot of his non-burned side.
*sniff!* Come back Ryan! We need you! Kendall needs you too, look at what she almost screwed! *points at Shaggy* |

Lynne Thigpen | ||

She's on--well, was on CBS's was The District. Anybody remember her? On AMC she played Noah's Aunt Grace. She died late Thursday night/early Friday morning at the age of 54. *Sniffles* Before I knew her as Aunt Grace, she was "The Chief" on Where In The World Is Carmen Sandiego? And a anti-Joe parent in the movie Lean On Me.

That's so sad. I never watched her on AMC, but I do remember her fondly from Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego? I'll have to pull out my old tape now (yes, I taped game shows - I was a dork).

Re: Lynne Thigpen | ||

Yeah, I remember her as Grace on AMC. Didn't she steal someone's baby? [thinks] Yes, she did. It was Derek and Mimi's baby.
In lighter news, Josh Duhamel got a movie role. A pretty big one. The movie is called Win a Date with Tad Hamilton and they start filming it in May. Josh plays the title role. In addition, he's shooting a pilot this month. Something with Nikki Cox set in Vegas. Not a sitcom, though. It hasn't been picked up by a network. Yet, anyway. |

Josh's new movie | ||

Heh. He plays a character named Tad? How funny. Do you know who else is supposed to be in the movie (anyone remotely famous?)
Nobody should have to be in a Nikki Cox show. That's just wrong. |

Kate Bosworth and Topher Grace. I only know the latter from That '70s Show. I've heard of the former, but I can't think of anything I might have seen her in.
