Want to reminisce about Mona? Wish Janet would come the hell back, already?

Ah Mona. Ah Janet. Who else do I miss? Ryan! Okay, I know he's only been gone for 12 hours or so, but who else is going to take 15 showers a day for us?

Jax? He can move to Pine Valley.

Oh, you know who I miss? Skye. Carrie Genzel's Skye or Robin Christopher's Skye. I liked them both. They need to get her the hell off of GH and back on this show. She's wasted over there.

Well, I miss Dixie & am pissed at how AMC killed her & the Tadbaby off. Okay, I know she hasn't been gone that long & Cady is at ATWT now, and Dixie ended up as a self righteous twit, but dammit Tad loved her (& the writers blew it). Once upon a time they were the best couple, the first soap couple I truly loved.
I know they've set it up so if Cady ever comes back to AMC, she can have the typical amnesia that everyone in Pine Valley seems to get when they allegedly die, but I'm still pissed. |

I miss Noah and Julia. You'd think that in a town where Brooke and Erica can both get away with murder (literally), and no one seems to remember all the evilness that anyone else does season to season that the hitmen would have forgotten about Noah by now.
I also miss Pierce, but I'm pretty vocal about it, and everyone already knows. Pierce #3, but #1 would be ok. Brooke is gonna need someone, y'all. I also miss Kelsey. She could come stir up some trouble too, try and take Sammy back. And the Bodines. Brian and his grease-monkey brother. I'd better stop, because the longer I sit here, the more people I think of. |

Kelsey and Kevin Sheffield were cool. I loved when she tried to seduce Edmund -- that was pathetic.
Scott Chandler needs to come back. He was actually tolerable, most of the time. Lily Montgomery should stop acting like a whiny green energy source. Grace Kiefer laying the smack down on Noah was always good for a laugh, whenever she wasn't off with the ACME Detective Agency. I am probably one of the three people who actually liked Gabriel. Sure, he couldn't act, but the premise of his character was intriguing. |

I miss Kelsey. She should totally come back and stir up trouble with Sam.
I remember thinking when she first came on that she had good chemistry with Ryan. She and Ryan schemed to break up Scott and Gillian because they had designs on them. I always thought Kelsey and Ryan would be the best couple, despite her being about two feet shorter than him. But then she left the show and it became a moot point. |

Kevin Sheffield? Was that the gay one? Did he ever do anything, besides being gay?
I totally miss Noah and Julia, they were cool. 'Specially Noah. And Janet and Trevor. |

No mention of Trevor yet? I miss him and his Janet from another planet. But I don't miss the brat that played Amanda. Gag.

Re: Gone, but not forgotten...

Oooh, was Kevin the gay character? I was thinking about him the other day, and wishing he'd come back-- then again, it would break the unwritten "One Gay Character!" rule, I guess.
Man, I miss Noah and Julia, too. And Skye. And yes, kari. Ryan too, hee. |

Re: Gone, but not forgotten...

That "one gay character" rule makes it so hard for them to have relationships, too.
I will never miss Amanda. The only child more annoying is when I occasionally catch the first few minutes of One Life to Live, and that Star creature is on. Wow, is she horrid. Seconding the Gabriel love. I really liked him. |

Hey now. I like Starr and I liked Amanda. Frankly, if you can watch the child and think, "God, she's annoying," as opposed to, "God, what a terrible actor," then they must be doing something right. I'd rather watch an annoying brat over a shitty child actor any day.

I like Starr, too. I barely remember Amanda, but I LOVE Starr. She's a brat, sure, but she cracks me up because she's a good little actress.
Topic? Yes, we have one. I want more Cortlands in town again. They used to be fun, especially with the big Cortland/Chandler rivalries. Those, and the Brooke/Erica catfights are possibly the things I miss the most. |

Re: Gone, but not forgotten...

Ah yes, Brooke/Erica catfights. How I miss those...
But I guess Greenlee and Kendall have been passed the torch. |

Nina & Daisy Cortland (Palmer needs family), Julia & Noah (loved those two), Janet & Trevor (miss the colorful attire), Skye (bring her home!) and, of course, RYAN.
Gone & Forgotten: Dixie, Kelsey, Dixie, Kevin, Dixie, Brian, Dixie |

Re: Gone, but not forgotten...

Um, I'm not sure about this. But could it be you miss Dixie?
I can't believe no one's mentioned this yet: Arlene. Her recent appearance was all too brief. Did I mention this one? Ryan? Let me try again...Ryan? Oh yeah. I miss Ryan. *sniff!* |

Re: Gone, but not forgotten...

See, Arlene is both gone and forgotten for me. Heh.

No, I DON'T miss Dixie...so glad the saint is gone!! Didn't mention Arlene 'cause she still comes back from time to time, but if they were smart, which they are not, they would sign her to a contract!

Yes, we need more Cortlandts. Remember when Palmer had children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews? Oh, and remember when Palmer was on the show? Did Vanessa put him in a storage locker at the bus station too? Or is he locked in that little secret room for his stolen WWII art *cough*worststoryever*cough*?

When it's 18 days later, it's not a double post.
Continuing my "we need fresh faces" rant from the shippers' thread, there are a lot of characters that could return and liven things up a bit. Emily Ann, Terrance, Barbara, David, Melanie, Jeremy, Trevor without Amanda, Trask and Brian, some more Pigeon Hollow folks, Scott, Phil the computer girl. Some of these people might be dead (is Jeremy dead?), but that's never stopped them before. I'm just saying that there used to be great people all over the show, and some of them could certainly mix things up a bit. Also, I miss the Adam vs. Palmer dynamic. If they are going to turn it into Adam vs. Liza, fine, but Palmer used to be a great bad guy business tycoon, and now he's Oldie McToastEater. |
